P R O F I L E For two decades, Native American photographer Rick Braveheart (Iroquois / Tuscarora) has specialized in capturing images of the earth and of its people. His photographs appear widely in published books, calendars, greeting cards, Internet websites, and in stock photography.
As a commercial photographer, one of his specialities is product photography. Whether it’s capturing the look of a kayak gliding gracefully through the water, the soft curves of plastic furniture or the rich sensual nature of melted chocolate, Rick strives to cauture the unque beauty of each item. “I want the viewer to experience deeply in the image what they would see, feel or sense if they were face to face with the product.” he says.
As a Native American photographer with great sensitivity to capturing the beauty and spirit in his subjects, Rick’s work as a portrait photographer with individuals and models is Nationally known. In addition to working from his studios in Florida and Ohio, he photographs frequently throughout in Southwest in New Mexico and Arizona, as well as in California and Texas. His digital portraits are seen widely in advertisements and corporate brochures, as well as corporate and modeling websites.
